"We Are All in the Same Field" Constellations with Elena Veselago

How can the ability to read the field help heal the wounds of the soul and of society?

During this seminar, Elena will work with the movements of the field in the most common and simultaneously most unique human stories.

-        Why am I alone?

-        Why are there problems in my marriage?

-        Why is my child behaving “badly?”

-        What is making me ill?

-        How can I find work I really love?

-        How can I make more money and spend it with pleasure?

These questions are shared by all of us and by our clients. The ability to read and understand the field processes which correspond with these questions can give us the answers. And at the same time, working with the field can give us the chance to create openings and successes where there previously were none.

Elena will explain, demonstrate, and offer exercises, and do constellations and explain them.

Elena Veselago is a leading Russian constellations facilitator, leader and the organizer of the Russian professional society of constellators. Having started her study of constellations directly with Bert Hellinger, Elena then continued her education with the most important international constellations masters. She has studied with 28 teachers from German, the Netherlands, the USA, and Australia, and other countries, including with teachers who offer shamanic training. Elena is a regular presenter at international professional conferences in Europe, the USA and in Australia, and is also the organizer of the largest constellations conference in Russia, “The Open Field.” Combining a deep sensitivity to the field, a knowledge of systemic laws, and access to the great resources of humanness and nature, Elena has created her own style of doing constellations, including the development of definitions and technology that support integration. Elena is very grateful to be working with Sarah Peyton, who is able to translate new phrases and ideas from Russian into English in order to make them available to the international audience.

Sarah Peyton, who visited us recently to teach us the Relational Neuroscience of Constellations, is delighted to be able to support our connection with Elena Veselago by being our Russian translator for Elena's visit. Elena is Sarah's own master teacher, and she is as excited about being with us to learn as she is to interpret. Saah worked as a simultaneous interpreter for 20 years before she had her son, and only returned to Russian and to translating when she met Elena and wanted to learn from her and to support other non-Russian speakers to learn from her.

Constellations with Two Masters: Bill Mannle and Ed Lynch

Bill Mannle and Ed Lynch are two of the most seasoned masters constellators in the United States. Both Gestalt therapists, Bill was first Ed’s student in graduate school, then a peer and now co-founders of the New England Center for Systemic Constellations. Ed was one of the original people who brought constellations to the US and involved in getting it off the ground here. We are pleased and honored to have them with us in the spring of 2020. We haven’t specified a theme yet, more to come on that later this year. Meantime, please take a look at their bios below, and then save the date on your calendars!

J. Edward Lynch, Ph.D,  is a nationally and internationally known facilitator and trainer in the systemic constellation method. He is a Founding Member of the International Systemic Constellation Association, past Co–Chair of the ISCA Curriculum Committee and a past member of the ISCA Website Development Team. He is a frequent contributor to ‘The Knowing Field’, a systemic constellation journal. He is co-editor with Suzi Tucker of Messengers of Healing, about Family Constellations, and author of Principles and Practices of Structural Family Therapy  with Barbara Lynch. He is a clinical supervisor of both Gestalt therapists and Marriage and Family therapists and has been associated with the education and training of psychotherapists for the past 40 years. He has been on the faculty of the Australian and American Intensives, and is former Chair of the Marriage and Family Therapy program at the Graduate School of SCSU in New Haven, CT. He is Founder of the North American Systemic Constellation Summer Intensive which has been in existence for 10 years, and co-founder of the New England Center for Systemic Constellations.

Bill Mannle, LMFT is a Gestalt and Marriage & Family Therapist in private practice in Connecticut, USA. He is a former adjunct faculty member at Southern Connecticut State University in the Marriage & Family Program where he served as a Clinical Supervisor, and taught a course in Family of Origin. In the mid-90s, he focused on attachment and trauma in early childhood and trained at the Hincks-Dellcrest Centre in Toronto Canada. In 1997, continuing his work with trauma, he underwent and intensive training at the Post Traumatic Stress Center in New Haven CT.

Bill was introduced to Constellations in 2002. Now, as a facilitator and trainer, he has conducted seminars in Connecticut, New York, California, Germany, Denmark, Australia, Mexico, Spain, Romania, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, and Croatia and China. He has led workshops in schools for both adolescents and teachers and is currently using Constellations as a method of supervision. Interested in Constellations ever-expanding nature, he is exploring its deeper spiritual, heart opening nature and its affect along the path. Equine Assisted Constellations: Playing in the Knowing Field with Horses

This is the third annual event where we spend a day in the 'field of the horse,' first getting to know how they live in the field (meaning the Knowing Field, not only the hayfield), and then having a chance to experience the deepened resonance of doing constellations with our equine friends.  The horses lend their exquisitely tuned ability to perceive energy to the work we do, and the heightened clarity of that results can bring profound results to the humans who come with questions they'd like to explore on that day.

Cathy Buelow, MA, equine assisted coach, is our guide in learning about the world of the horse, and Katherine Curran, Ph.D., and Mike McElwee, Ph.D., facilitate the constellations.

Our objectives for the day include for participants to be able to:

•Relax into a heart based connection with the horse and access the wisdom of the field of the horse.

•Experience the balance of giving and receiving with horse and humans as partners.

•Participate in constellations in an expansive nature-based knowing field.

The Horse Ancestors will be there, too!

The Practice of Family Constellations for Personal and Professional Growth

Katherine M. Curran, Ph.D

Family and Systemic Constellations is an indigenously inspired practice that was initially developed by a German ex-priest and psychotherapist named Bert Hellinger, from personal experiences with Zulu tribes people in South Africa.Constellations reveal a ‘life image’ of unconscious dynamics in a family, organizational, or social system. Through having participants represent elements in a system, a constellation can display relationships, entanglements and connections between people in a family, or people and/or functions in an organization or social system that we would not be aware of otherwise. We live the symptoms of entangled dynamics through patterns we create and recreate to our detriment - even over generations - with greater or lesser degrees of pain and/or unhappiness.

Constellations expand and change our sense of the ground of an issue so that we see the figure in a fuller, more meaningful light. They show what is out of order that leads to these symptoms, and by revealing this allow a healthier, more functional order to be established. Two distinguishing traits of this method are that it allows us to access and heal patterns created in earlier generations (i.e., transgenerational trauma), and that it does this through drawing on information available in an expanded sense of ‘the field’ as first described by Kurt Lewin. In this intensive, participants will learn the basics of constellations, have opportunities to either work on personal or professional issues, to represent in others’ constellations, and to debrief the experiences from a Gestalt point of view.

All My Relations Constellations

All My Relations Constellations

A transformational walk with the family soul . . .

Family systems constellations reveal those places where one suffers out of loyalty to the challenges, wounds and fears of the past in the system.  Being disconnected from our lineage, land and stories, many modern souls are searching for the inclusion which is so often found in a simple movement in the Circle. Walking with the ancestors, we will introduce respect, and the incorporation of ancient healing wisdom traditions and ritual in life and systems constellations.

In this workshop, participants will:

•Be introduced to family system constellation work

•Be encouraged to consider the family system dynamics in their own background, including the orders of love, the role of the ancestors in healing and victim/perpetrator dynamics

•Experience a constellation, either their own, standing in as a representative, or as an observer.

Francesca Mason Boring, is an enrolled member of the Shoshone Nation, an aboriginal tribe in the US.  She has been trained in Family Constellations by many of the original masters in constellation work through out the world.

She has facilitated workshops/trainings throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Italy, Singapore, Australia, Bulgaria and South Africa.

Mason Boring serves on the advisory board of and writes for The Knowing Field, the journal for constellation work and has authored six books, most recently Family & Systems Constellations: In the Company of Good People.

Systems Theory in Org Development vs. Systemic Thinking in Org Constellations: What's the Difference?

Please join the US Organization Constellation practitioner community for this free collaborative zoom conversation about the title topic. What is the difference between Systems Theory that is the underpinning for traditional organization development interventions, and Systemic Thinking that undergirds organizational constellations? Katherine Curran will kick off the conversation by presenting some traditional systems models and then together we will explore the similarities and differences between that and org constellations. It should be a stimulating dialog! The zoom link is here. No need to preregister; just join us on that day! Time listed is Central Standard time.

Mother's Song, Father's Tune: Live Your Own Dance Constellation Workshop, with Susan Altschwager

In family constellations, exploring what we have received from our parents is some of the most important, basic healing work we can do. Our parents have the most influence on us, seeming to show us how much life is ours to have, who we believe we are, where we fit into the world, and how to connect with life. Entanglements in family dynamics can result in relationship difficulties between parents, partners, children and siblings. They can contribute to pain, addictions, depression, and physical and mental health issues.

Constellation Learning/Growth Group Pilot Program

This year, come explore "the place where your deep gladness meets the world's deep need . . ."

October, 2018 - June 2019

We are happy to announce the inaugural cohort of our new constellations-based learning/growth program.  For almost three years, we have brought many of the best American and international constellation facilitators to Minnesota to help people here understand the promise of this ground breaking methodology.  However, each session has been a stand alone workshop, with little formal teaching about the foundations of the work and little sense of how one might progress through it systematically to heal the issues that have stood in the way of one being one's true self.  So we are excited to offer this new program, designed to meet the needs of those of you who want to go farther, both in your comprehension of the field of constellations, and especially in terms of uncovering and/or strengthening your own sacred work and being-ness in the world.
